Stopping-up of Highway, access road to Oaklands Business Park, Ferndale
Notice is hereby given that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council will make
application to the Magistrates’ Court sitting at Rhondda in the County Borough of
Rhondda Cynon Taff, on 18th February 1998, pursuant to the provisions of section 116
of the Highways Act 1980, for an Order to stop up for the purposes of all traffic
and persons the undermentioned area of highway situated at the access road to Oaklands
Business Park, Ferndale, in the County Borough of Rhondda Cynon Taff shown hatched
black on the plan deposited for inspection.
The length of maintainable highway forming part of the access road serving the
Oaklands Business Park, Ferndale, from its junction with East Road in a generally
north-easterly direction for a distance of 304 metres (332 yards) or thereabouts shown
hatched black on the deposited plan.
Any person who would be aggrieved by the making of the Order to be applied for
has a right to be heard on the making of this application and for this purpose may
attend Rhondda Magistrates’ Courts, at Llwynypia, Rhondda, on Wednesday, 18th February
1998, at 10 a.m.
The plan referred to shown has been placed on deposit at the offices of the Rhondda
Cynon Taff County Borough Council, Municipal Buildings, Llewellyn Street, Pentre,
where it may be inspected, free of charge, during normal office hours.
