Notice of application for a licence to abstract water

Take notice that Prudential Portfolio Managers, of c/o Ove Arup and Partners, 63 St. Thomas Street, Bristol, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from carboniferous limestone strata, at National Grid Reference ST 589 810, at Cribbs Causeway Regional Shopping Centre, Patchway, Bristol.   The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 3.168 cubic metres per hour and 25.34 cubic metres per day. The water will be used for irrigation of external landscaping to comply with planning conditions.   A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Bovis Construction, Cribbs Causeway Regional Shopping Centre, Pegasus Road, Patchway, Bristol, between 16th January and 16th February 1998.   Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Rivers House, East Quay, Bridgwater TA6 4YS, before the end of the said period.
