Stopping-up of Highway—St. Michael’s Field, Aberaman
Notice is hereby given that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council will make application to the Magistrates Court sitting at Aberdare in the County Borough of Rhondda Cynon Taff, on 12th February 1998, pursuant to the provisions of section 116 of the Highways Act 1980, for an Order to stop up for the purposes of all traffic, the undermentioned area of highway situated at St. Michael’s Field in the County Borough of Rhondda Cynon Taff, shown hatched black on the plan deposited for inspection.
Description of Highway to be Stopped-Up
The length of maintainable highway forming part of the Access Road leading to St. Michael’s Field from a point 210 metres (230 yards) south-east of its junction with the access road over the A4059 Aberdare By-pass, in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 320 metres (350 yards) or thereabouts, shown hatched black on the deposited plan.
Description of Alternative Highways to be Provided
A footway to maintain pedestrian rights on the south-western side of the access road to a width of 1.8 metres (2 yards) between points A-B shown as a black line on the plan deposited for inspection. Any person who would be aggrieved by the making of the Order to be applied for has a right to be heard on the making of this application and for this purpose may attend Aberdare Magistrates’ Courts at Cwmbach Road, Aberdare, on Thursday, 12th February 1998, at 10 a.m. The plan referred to shown has been placed on deposit at the offices of the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council, Municipal Buildings, Llewellyn Street, Pentre, where it may be inspected, free of charge, during normal office hours.
