Pedestrian Crossings

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley is about to introduce the following pedestrian and cyclist facilities in Picardy Manorway.   (i) introduce a controlled (toucan) (signal controlled) pedestrian and cyclist crossing in Picardy Manorway, Belvedere, at the junction with Norman Road, from the southern footway of the road to the central reservation and from the central reservation to the triangular island site to be constructed at the junction of Picardy Manorway and Norman Road as part of the proposed improvements to the junction;   (ii) introduce an uncontrolled (zebra crossing with added facilities for cyclists) from the triangular island given in (i) above to the north-eastern corner of the footway at the junction;   (iii) introduce an uncontrolled (zebra crossing with added facilities for cyclists) from the triangular island given in (i) above to the north-western corner of the footway at the junction.   Any representations regarding the proposal should be sent to the Chief Engineer, London Borough of Bexley, Sidcup Place, Sidcup, Kent DA14 6BT, by 5th February 1998.
