TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (County of South Yorkshire) (Doncaster No. 2) Order 1998” authorising the stopping-up of High Ealands, a length of Fore Doles Road, a length of Doncaster Footpath No. 7, and a length of unnamed footpath at Thorne, near Doncaster.   Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Director of Planning, Transport and Environment at the Government Office for Yorkshire and the Humber, PO Box 213, City House, New Station Street, Leeds LS1 4US (quoting reference YHDOT F4410/35/1/5), and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council, 2nd Floor, Darum House, St. Sepulcher Gate, Doncaster and Thorne Moorends Town Council, Assembly Rooms, Fieldside, Thorne, near Doncaster.   Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 15th January 1998, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provisions contained therein.   The Departmental contact for any queries relating to this publication is F.
