Notice is given that the Council of the London Borough of Havering propose to make the Havering (Prescribed Street) (No.  ) Traffic Order 1998, under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.   The general effect of the Order would be to prohibit all vehicles from the section of Market Place between a point 0.3 metres west of a point opposite the eastern wall of 82-84 Market Place and the eastern end of Market Place between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays or Sundays.   A copy of the proposed Order and of the Council’s statement of reasons can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until 23rd February 1998, at the 6th Floor, Mercury House, Mercury Gardens, Romford.   Persons wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds for it to the Head of Transportation & Engineering, Mercury House, Mercury Gardens, Romford RM1 3SL, to be received not later than 23rd February 1998.
