SOLIHULL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL

The Metropolitan Borough of Solihull (A34 Stratford Road and B4102 Marshall Lake Road, Shirley) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Unloading, and Prescribed Left Turn) Order 1998. Notice is hereby given that the Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council have made the above-mentioned Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.   The effect of the Order, which came into force on 9th January 1998, will be to:   (i) Prohibit Loading and Unloading, at any time along A34 Stratford Road, Shirley, from its junction with B4102 Marshall Lake Road to the traffic roundabout at the access of the Sainsburys Store;   (ii) Prohibit Waiting, at any time along a short distance of the south-east side of B4102 Marshall Lake Road, in the vicinity of the Service Road fronting Nos. 2-10 Marshall Lake Road; and   (iii) That all vehicles proceeding in a northerly direction along the Service Road, fronting Nos. 2-10 Marshall Lake Road (evens) and 645-677 Marshall Lake Road (odds), shall make a left turn only, upon reaching its junction with Marshall Lake Road.   A copy of the Order, together with a map and details of the Councils reasons for making it, may be inspected at the Council Offices, Solihull, during normal office hours. Anyone wishing to question the validity of the above Order should apply to the High Court in writing for that purpose within 6 weeks from the date of this notice. N. H.
