LONDON BOROUGH OF EALING
The Ealing (Free Parking Places) (No. 2) (Amendment No. 3) Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Ealing, hereinafter called the Council, on 15th January 1998 made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991.   The general effect of the Order will be to amend the Ealing (Free Parking Places) (No. 2) Order 1997 to provide free parking places, specified in the Schedule to this notice, where certain vehicles may wait for a maximum period of one hour and where return to that parking place will be prohibited for one hour.   Details of exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Order of 1997.   A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 23rd January 1998, of the Order being amended, of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order and plans showing the locations and effects of the Order may be inspected during a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at BRETS Reception, 24 Uxbridge Road, Ealing W5 2BP. Copies of the Order may be purchased at this address.   Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the making of the Order, make application for the purpose to the High Court.   Queens Parade, Queens Drive, W.5, the south-east side, from a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 14 and 15 Queens Parade north-eastward for a distance of 43 metres.   Station Road, W.5, the south-east side, from a point 4.88 metres east of a point opposite the easternmost wall of Edencourt, Station Road north-eastward for a distance of 43 metres. 15th January 1998.
