Notice of application to vary a licence to abstract water
Take notice that E. J. W. Holman, of Belt Farm, Aylsham, Norfolk NR11 6HZ, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence serial number 7/34/6/G/281 to abstract water from a chalk borehole at National Grid Reference TG 199 274, in the parish of Aylsham, in the district of Broadland, in the county of Norfolk. The variation being applied for is to renew the authorisation to abstract water for spray irrigation, which expired on 30th November 1997, and to increase the quantity that can be abstracted for spray irrigation from 20,000 to 68,000 cubic metres between 1st April and 30th November each year. Licence number 7/34/6/SG/137 to abstract water from the River Bure for spray irrigation will be revoked upon the granting of the proposed variation. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at the address given above between 23rd January 1998 and 20th February 1998. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Anglian Region, Eastern Area, Cobham Road, Ipswich, Suffolk IP3 9JE, before the end of the said period.
