Highway Verge adjacent to the Jolly Farmer Public House, Woodrow South, Redditch, Worcestershire
The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions, hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Hereford and Worcester) (No. 1) Order 1998”, authorising the stopping-up of a length of highway verge adjacent to the Jolly Farmer Public House, Woodrow South, Redditch, Worcestershire. The Order as made, will authorise the stopping-up only to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted by Redditch Borough Council on 14th July 1997, under reference 97/062. Copies of this Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the West Midlands, at the offices of the Director, Planning, Transport and Environment, 77 Paradise Circus, Queensway, Birmingham B1 2DT (quoting 5058/35/1/16) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of Redditch Borough Council, Town Hall, Alcester Street, Redditch, Worcestershire B98 8AH. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 21st January 1998, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
