(One-way Working/Bus Stands/Waiting and Loading Restrictions in “Leytonstone Plaza”, E.11)

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest (hereinafter referred to as “the Council”) propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991.   The general effect of the Prescribed Route Order would be to impose one-way working for vehicles in the unnamed access road off Grove Green Road surrounding the area of land known as “Leytonstone Plaza” (hereinafter called “Leytonstone Plaza”) in a general southerly direction.   The general effect of the bus stand clearway Order would be to prohibit vehicles (except buses) from stopping at any time on 3 bus stands situated in Leytonstone Plaza.   The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Order would be to further amend The Waltham Forest (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 1997, so that waiting and loading by vehicles would be prohibited at any time in Leytonstone Plaza.   A copy of each of the proposed Orders, of the above-mentioned Order of 1997 (and of the Orders which have amended that Order), of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and of a plan showing the locations and effects of the Orders can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, or as the case may be, the Council decides not to made the Orders at (a) The Information Desk, Town Hall, Forest Road, Walthamstow, London E.17; (b) The Reception Desk, Municipal Offices, 16 The Ridgeway, Chingford E.4; and (c) The Information Office, Municipal Offices, High Road, Leyton E.10.   Any person desiring to object to the proposed Orders or make other representations should send a statement in writing of either their objection and the grounds thereof or of their representation to the undersigned at the address given below, quoting the reference HS/SSU/GV/TMO/341, by 12th February 1998.
