The Newbury District Council (Northcroft Lane West Parking Place) Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that the Council made the above-mentioned Order on 20th January 1998, under section 35 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is as described in the notice published under Ref. No. 502 of The London Gazette dated 13th November 1997.   A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 26th January 1998, can be inspected at the offices of Newbury District Council, Market Street, Newbury, on any weekday except Saturday and Public Holidays, between the hours of 8.30 a.m. and 5 p.m. (4 p.m. on Fridays).   Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any Instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks from 22nd January 1998, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
