The Bromley (Bus Stop Clearway) (No. 2) Order 1997 (Amendment No. 1) Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley, on 9th January 1998, made the above-mentioned Orders under section 6 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by section 8 of, and Part I of Schedule 5 of, the Local Government Act 1985, which will come into operation on 2nd February 1998.   The general effect of the Order will be as stated in the notice of proposal published in The London Gazette, dated 13th November 1997, Issue No. 54947, Ref. No. (497), regarding a Bus Stop Clearway in Burnt Ash Lane.   A copy of the Order and relevant drawing may be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays, until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from the date of making the Order, at the Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent.   Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order, or of any of its provisions on the ground that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that any requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
