Stopping-up of Unnamed Highways Balmoral Drive Area, Felling

Notice is hereby given that the Borough Council of Gateshead intend to apply to the Gateshead Petty Sessional Division sitting at the Magistrates’ Court at Warwick Street, Gateshead, on 24th February 1998, at 2 p.m., or thereabouts for an Order authorising the stopping-up as being unnecessary for highway purposes of two areas of unnamed highways at Balmoral Drive, Felling.   The areas of highways proposed to be stopped up are:   (a) approximately 486 square metres of redundant car parking area lying approximately 30 metres north of the Balmoral Tavern Public House, Balmoral Drive, Felling; and   (b) approximately 55 square metres of redundant highway lying approximately 28 metres north of No. 143 Balmoral Drive.   A plan showing the areas of highway to be stopped up is deposited at the offices of the Director of Legal and Administrative Services, Gateshead MBC, Civic Centre, Regent Street, Gateshead, and may be inspected during normal office hours.   On the hearing of the application any person who would be aggrieved by the making of the Order shall have the right to be heard.
