The Heathrow Airport (Prohibition of Driving) (Amendment No. 2) Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that Heathrow Airport Limited (being a wholly owned subsidiary of BAA plc), proposes to make an Order under sections 6 and 7 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, having effect by virtue of sections 1, 2 and 65 of the Airports Act 1986.   The general nature and effect of this Order is to prohibit vehicles entering Calshot Road via Conway Road and to prohibit deliveries on Calshot Road.   A copy of the draft Order, a plan illustrating the proposals and a statement of reasons may be inspected between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday to Friday, at the offices of the General Manager, Transportation Policy, Heathrow Point, 234 Bath Road, Harlington, Middlesex UB3 5AP.   Any objections to the proposed Order should be sent in writing, quoting the Order’s name, specifying the grounds on which they are made, to the Roads Policy Manager, at the address above, to arrive before 12th February 1998.
