Stopping-up of Highways

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Borough of Redcar and Cleveland intends, on 20th February 1998, at 10 a.m., to apply to the Teesside Magistrates, sitting at The Law Courts, Victoria Square, Middlesbrough, for an Order under the provisions of section 116 of the Highways Act 1980, authorising the stopping-up of the highway referred to in the Schedule hereto, on the grounds that the said highway is unnecessary.   A plan showing the highway proposed to be stopped-up has been deposited at the offices of the Deputy Director of Law and Administration, Town Hall, Fabian Road, South Bank TS6 9AR, and may be inspected there, free of charge, during normal office hours.
