The City of Westminster (Parking Place) (No.  ) Order 199  The City of Westminster (Free Parking Place) (Disabled Persons) (Permit Parking Places) (Revocation No.  ) Order 199

Notice is hereby given that the Westminster City Council propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985.
  The general effect of the Disabled Person’s Permit Parking Place Revocation Order would remove a redundant disabled persons’ permit parking place in Glentworth Street.
  The general effect of the Parking Place Order would be to:

  (a) extend a residents’ parking place in Glentworth Street;
  (b) provide that in the residents’ parking place, vehicles displaying a valid parking card bearing the letter “B” issued by the City Council in respect of that vehicle may be left. The charge for its use would be 85 pence per day unless a valid season ticket is displayed. Season tickets cost £25 for 3 months or £85 for 12 months;
  (c) provide that the parking place would operate between 8.30 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays inclusive;
  (d) provide that certain other vehicles may wait in the parking place free of charge in certain circumstances, e.g. to allow persons to board or alight (maximum 2 minutes), to load or unload (maximum 20 minutes), and vehicles left by specified disabled persons (no time limit).

  The proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at Hyder Consulting Ltd., Third Floor, 29 Bressenden Place, London SW1E 5DZ, until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders are made or the Council decide not to make the Orders.

  Any objections or other representations about either of the proposed Orders should be sent in writing to the Council’s agents Hyder Consulting Ltd., Third Floor, 29 Bressenden Place, London SW1E 5DZ, quoting Ref. WES1004/ORD/1758/CJ, until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
