Notice of Deposit of Proposals for a Statutory Plan or for the Alteration or Replacement of a Statutory Plan Notice of Deposit of Proposals for a Local Plan Ellesmere Port and Neston Borough Local Plan

Notice is hereby given that Ellesmere Port and Neston Borough Council have prepared proposals for the above plan. If and when these proposals are adopted they will form part of the development plan for Ellesmere Port and Neston Borough. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area.   Copies of the proposals are available for public inspection, free of charge, at Planning Department, Council Offices, 4 Civic Way, Ellesmere Port; Neston Town Hall, Neston; Ellesmere Port Library, Civic Way, Ellesmere Port; Neston Library, Parkgate Road, Neston; Hope Farm Library, Bridge Meadow, Great Sutton; Little Sutton Library, Chester Road, Little Sutton; Westminster Neighbourhood Housing Office, Church Parade, Ellesmere Port and Epicentre Partnership Office, Cambridge Road, Ellesmere Port.   The deposited documents are available for inspection between 9 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. at the Council Offices, Neston Town Hall, Westminster Neighbourhood Office and the Epicentre Office and during normal opening hours at the libraries.   Objections to, and representations in respect of, the proposals, should be sent in writing to T. R. Miller, Head of Planning Services, Council Offices, 4 Civic Way, Ellesmere Port, South Wirral L65 0BE, to arrive before 5 p.m. on Monday, 9th March 1998.   Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. They may also be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the proposals.   Only those objections made in writing which arrive at the address above within the 6 week period ending at 5 p.m. on Monday, 9th March 1998, will have a right to have their objections considered at a local inquiry or hearing.   Further information is available from the Planning Department, Ellesmere Port and Neston Borough Council, 4 Civic Way, Ellesmere Port.

Notice of Intention to Adopt Proposals

  If no objections are received during the period given for making objections, Ellesmere Port and Neston Borough Council intend to adopt the proposals on the expiry of that period.
