LONDON BOROUGH OF LAMBETH
Proposed Closure of part of Cambria Road

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Lambeth propose to make the Lambeth (Prescribed Routes) (No.  ) Traffic Order 199 , under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.   The general nature and effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles, except pedal cycles and emergency services vehicles, from using Cambria Road as a through route. This would be achieved by the construction of a barrier in Cambria Road, 3 metres south-east of the southern kerb-line of Bengeworth Road.   If you have any enquiries about this proposal, please telephone 0171-926 7099 during office hours.   A copy of the proposed Order and of documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Order are available for inspection between 9.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m., on Mondays to Fridays, at the Council’s offices at Courtenay House, 9-15 New Park Road, London S.W.2, until the last day of the period of 6 weeks beginning with the date on which the Order is made, or as the case may be, the authority decides not to make the Order.   All objections and other representations relating to the proposed Order must be made in writing and all objections must specify the grounds on which they are made and should be sent to the Manager of Transport Planning Group, Environmental Services, Courtenay House, London SW2 4DU, by 13th February 1998.
