The A40 Trunk Road (Old Bath Road, Cheltenham) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) Order 1998

The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he has made this Order on 19th January 1998, coming into force on 2nd February 1998, on the A40 Trunk Road at Cheltenham in the County of Gloucestershire. The notice of the proposal to make it (ref. 5056/41/5/A40/01) was published in issue number 54665 of The London Gazette, on 30th January 1997, and the effect of the Order is as described in that notice.
  A copy of the made Order, together with a plan illustrating the effect of the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Gloucestershire County Council, Shire Hall, Gloucester; Cheltenham Borough Council, Municipal Offices, Promenade, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire; or obtained by application to the Highways Agency, Network and Customer Services (South), Tollgate House, Houlton Street, Bristol BS2 9DJ, quoting ref. DSW 5056/41/5/A40/01.
  Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act, or of regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks from 19th January 1998, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or any provisions contained therein.
