Notice of application for a licence to abstract water
Take notice that T. M. Charlesworth, of Red Hall Farm, Leighton, near Crewe, Cheshire, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from a borehole into sand and gravel at National Grid Reference SJ 6794 5838, at Red Hall Farm, Leighton-cum-Marshall Vernon, near Crewe, Cheshire. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 2.27 cubic metres per hour, 36.36 cubic metres per day, 13,272.73 cubic metres per year. The water will be used for agricultural purposes only, not including spray irrigation. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Red Hall Farm, Leighton, near Crewe, Cheshire, between 28th January 1998 and 6th March 1998. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, “Mirwell”, Carrington Lane, Sale M33 5NL, before the end of the said period. S.
