Notice of application for a licence to abstract water
Take notice that Barnham Broom Golf Club Ltd., of Barnham Broom, Norwich, Norfolk NR9 4DD, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from a borehole into the underground strata at National Grid Reference TG 0948 0845, at Barnham Broom Golf Club Ltd., Barnham Broom, Norwich, Norfolk NR9 4DD. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 68 cubic metres per hour, 1,360 cubic metres per day, 68,192 cubic metres per year, between 1st April and 31st October each year. The water will be used for leisure, spray irrigation of golf course. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Barnham Broom Golf Club Ltd., Norwich, between Monday, 26th January and Monday, 23rd February 1998. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Cobham Road, Ipswich, Suffolk IP3 9JE, before the end of the said period. J. A.
