Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Enfield, on 26th January 1998, made the Enfield (Prohibition of Stopping Outside Schools) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. 2) Order 1998, under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991.   2. The general effect of the Order will be to amend the Enfield (Prohibition of Stopping Outside Schools) (Special Parking Area) (No. 1) Order 1995, so that stopping by vehicles will be prohibited between 8.15 a.m. and 9.15 a.m., and between 2.45 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive during school term time in the length of Kempe Road specified in the Schedule to this notice.   3. The prohibition referred to in paragraph 2 above will be subject to certain exemptions.   4. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 9th February 1998, of a map indicating the location and effect of the Order, of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order, and of the Enfield (Prohibition of Stopping Outside Schools) (Special Parking Area) (No. 1) Order 1995 (and of the Orders which have previously amended that Order), can be inspected at the Reception Desk, “B” Block, the Civic Centre, Silver Street, Enfield, Middlesex EN1 3XD, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.   5. Copies of the Order may be obtained from the Traffic Engineering Group, the Civic Centre, Silver Street, Enfield, Middlesex EN1 3XD.   6. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
