Notice of proposed modifications to proposals for the alteration of a local plan Ribble Valley Districtwide Local Plan

Notice is hereby given that Ribble Valley Borough Council propose to modify these plan proposals.   A list of the proposed modifications (other than modifications which the authority are satisfied will not materially affect the content of the plan proposals) with the authority’s reasons for proposing them are available for inspection at:   Council Offices, Church Walk, Clitheroe, during normal office hours;   Longridge Planning Surgery, Longridge Town Council Offices, Berry Lane, Longridge, Thursday, 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.;   Clitheroe Library, during normal hours;   Longridge Library, Beny Lane, Longridge, during normal hours;   Mellor Library, St. Mary’s Gardens, Mellor, during normal hours;   Whalley Library, Abbey Road, Whalley, during normal hours.   Copies of the plan proposals, the report of the person who held the local inquiry and the authority’s statement of reasons and decisions in the light of the report are similarly available for inspection.   Objections to, and representations in respect of the proposed modifications should be sent in writing to J. S. Bailey, Chief Planning Officer, Development Department, Council Offices, Church Walk, Clitheroe BB7 2RA, before 20th March 1998. Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made, and may be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejections of the plan porposals.

Notice of intention to adopt proposals

If no objections are received during the period given for making objections and the Secretary of State is satisfied that the modifications proposed conform with his direction or the direction is withdrawn Ribble Valley Borough Council intend to adopt the proposals on the expiry of that period.
