The Borough of Bournemouth (Off-Street Parking Places) Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that the Bournemouth Borough Council, in exercise of its powers under section 35(1) and (3) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act, and of all other enabling powers, with the consent of the Dorset County Council, in accordance with section 39(3) of the Act, and after consulting the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, proposes to make the above Order.   The Order, when operative, will control the use of the parking places named in the Schedule to this notice, which shows the classes of vehicles, the days and times of operation, the maximum period of waiting and the scale of charges for each parking place.   A copy of the draft Order may be examined at my office on Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. and at Central Library, The Lansdowne, on Mondays to Fridays 9.30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.   If any person wishes to object to the Order, their objection, together with the grounds for making it, should be made in writing to the undersigned (Ref.
