Notice of application to vary a licence to abstract water

Take notice that David Grant and Robert Edward William Grant, trading as D & B Grant, of Highgate House, Leverton, Boston, Lincolnshire, are applying to the Environment Agency to vary abstraction licence No. 4/30/13/S/240 to abstract water from the Lower Hobhole Drains System as per the National Grid Reference points and terms and conditions of the existing licence in the parishes of Freiston and Fishtoft, in the district of Boston, in the county of Lincolnshire.   The variation being applied for is:   (i) additional area of land to be irrigated in the parish of Fishtoft in the Lower Hobhole Drains System and an additional area of land to be irrigated in the parish of Wrangle Commonside, in the Upper Hobhole Drains System;   (ii) additional abstraction point from the Lade Bank Drain between National Grid References TF 4234 5558 and TF 4282 5558 in the parish of Wrangle Commonside, in the district of Boston, in the county of Lincolnshire;   (iii) additional abstraction points from Witham IV Internal Drainage Board maintained drains between National Grid References TF 4275 5468 and TF 4308 5472, TF 4275 5468 and TF 4290 5405, TF 4308 5472 and TF 4326 5440, in the parish of Wrangle Commonside, in the district of Boston, in the county of Lincolnshire;   (iv) additional abstraction points from Riparian Drains between National Grid References TF 3687 4343 and TF 3651 4337, TF 3670 4367 and TF 3643 4360 in the parish of Fishtoft, in the district of Boston, in the county of Lincolnshire;   (v) additional abstraction point from the Hobhole Drain at National Grid Reference TF 3650 4565 in the parish of Freiston, in the district of Boston, in the county of Lincolnshire.   A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Highgate House, Leverton, Boston, Lincolnshire, between 12th February and 12th March 1998.   Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so, in writing, to the Environment Agency, Waterside House, Waterside North, Lincoln LN2 5HA, before the end of the said period.
