Highway Verge at Warren Field, Ryton-on-Dunsmore, Warwickshire
The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order, under section 247 of the above Act, entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Warwickshire) (No. 2) Order 1998”, authorising the stopping-up of areas of highway verge at Warren Field, Ryton-on-Dunsmore, Warwickshire, and requiring the provision of new means of access shown as thin diagonal hatching on the deposited plan, a new footpath shown as thick black hatching on the deposited plan and the improvement of existing highway shown as cross hatched on the deposited plan. The Order as made, will authorise the stopping-up only to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted by Rugby Borough Council on 6th June 1997, under Ref. R/96/0764/21276/P. Copies of this Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the West Midlands, at the offices of the Director, Planning, Transport and Environment, 77 Paradise Circus, Queensway, Birmingham B1 2DT, (quoting 5077/35/1/29) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at Rugby Borough Council, The Retreat, Newbold Road, Rugby, Warwickshire CV21 2LG. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 12th February 1998, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
