Stopping-up of Lay-by off Dover Road, Guston

I am giving notice that Kent County Council, as Highway Authority, propose to make an application to the Magistrates sitting at the Courthouse, Pencester Road, Dover, on Friday, 20th March 1998, at 10 a.m., for an Order under section 116 of Highways Act 1980, to extinguish highway rights on the grounds that they are unnecessary over the lay-by and verge shown edged red on the plan on deposit.   The plan showing the effect of the proposal can be seen during normal office hours at the offices of Dover District Council, Whitecliff Business Park, Dover; and at The Strategic Planning Department, Kent County Council, Sandling Block, Springfield, Maidstone.
