Application for Licence Exemption by Tibbett & Britten Applied Limited (“the Applicant”)
Company Registration No. 868498

Directors of the Applicant: John Anthony Harvey, Michael Robert Stalbow, David William Howes and Kenneth Thomas John Butt.   The Rail Regulator hereby gives notice in accordance with section 7(4) of the Railways Act (“the Act”) 1993 that he proposes to grant the Applicant an exemption from the requirement to be authorised by licence to operate the network comprised within the International Rail Freight Terminal, Daventry, non-passenger trains on that network, and any associated Light Maintenance Depot, on the grounds that he does not consider it appropriate for the provisions of the Act to be applied to such railway assets. Any person who wishes to make any representations or objection with respect to the proposed exemption should send such representation or objection to Michael Ricketts, Passengers Service Group, Office of the Rail Regulator, 1 Waterhouse Square, 138-142 Holborn, London EC1N 2ST, not later than 13th March 1998.   A plan showing the extent of the railway to which the proposed network licence exemption applies is available for inspection at the above address between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on any working day.
