Notice of Adoption of Proposals for a Local Plan South Derbyshire Local Plan

Notice is hereby given that on 9th February 1998, South Derbyshire District Council adopted these plan proposals with modifications. The adopted proposals will form part of the development plan for South Derbyshire. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area.   Copies of the adopted proposals are available for inspection at South Derbyshire District Council, Civic Offices, Civic Way, Swadlincote, Monday to Thursday 8.45 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday 8.45 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.; Swadlincote Library, Civic Way, Swadlincote, Monday, Tuesday and Friday 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., Wednesday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday 9.30 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Etwall Library, Main Street, Etwall, Monday and Thursday 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 5.30 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Wednesday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.; Melbourne Library, Leisure Centre, High Street, Melbourne, Monday 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday 2 p.m. to 5.30 p.m., and Friday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.; and Woodville Library, 1 Hartshorne Road, Woodville, Swadlincote, Monday and Friday 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 5.30 p.m. to 7 p.m.   The proposals come into operation on their adoption. A person aggrieved by the proposals who desires to question their validity on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by Part II of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, or that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the adoption of the proposals may, within 6 weeks from 19th February 1998, make an application to the High Court under section 287 of the 1990 Act.
