KENT COUNTY COUNCIL
The County of Kent (Shorne Wood Country Park, Car Park, Gravesend) (Pay and Display) Order 1997

Notice is hereby given that on 28th October 1997, Kent County Council made the above Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to come into force on 2nd April 1998. The effect of the Order is to introduce Pay and Display meters at the Shorne Wood Country Park, Car Park, Gravesend, to operate between 9 a.m. and lighting up time on any day other than Christmas day.   The charges for vehicles left in this car park will be 50p per day Monday to Saturday, £1 on Sundays/Bank Holidays (or an Annual Parking Permit may be purchased at a cost of £8) with a standard charge of £20 (discounted to £5 if paid within 7 days) in respect of vehicles left in contravention of the Order.   Full details are contained in the Order which, together with a plan illustrating the proposals, may be inspected during usual office hours at the offices of the Head of Legal Services, Kent County Council, County Hall, Maidstone, Kent ME14 1XQ.   If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
