Take notice that Entrepose U.K., of “West Hay”, Stamford Road, Kingscliffe, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from the River Nene, at National Grid Reference TL 1040 9775 at a point between Wansford and Waternewton, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.   The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 900 cubic metres per hour, 7,520 cubic metres per day and 9,000 cubic metres per year, between 4th May 1998 and 20th June 1998. The water will be used for hydrostatic testing of a gas pipeline construction. This is a one-off abstraction, whereby all the water will be returned cleanly to source on completion.   A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Wansford Post Office between 13th February 1998 and 13th March 1998.   Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Waterside House, Waterside North, Lincoln LN2 5HA, before the end of the said period. R. W. Graham, on behalf of Entrepose U.K. 12th February 1998.
