Notice of further changes to the deposited proposals for a statutory plan Ashford Borough Local Plan
Notice is hereby given that Ashford Borough Council have prepared a Fourth Schedule of further changes to the deposited proposals for the above Plan. The proposals were originally deposited for public inspection on 22nd November 1996, and the period for objection and representation expired on 31st January 1997. A First Schedule of changes was advertised in April 1997, and the period for objections expired on 6th June 1997. A Second Schedule of changes was advertised in September 1997 and the period for objectiosn expired on 5th November 1997. A Third Schedule of changes relating to Site 16 (Westhawk Farm) and Site 18 (Chilmington Green and Court Lodge) was deposited for public inspection from Thursday, 20th November 1997 and the period for objections expired on 2nd January 1998. The Fourth Schedule of changes relating to Site 22 (Templer and Rowcroft Barracks), Site 54 (Bridewell Lane, Tenterden), Site 55 (Three Fields/Six Fields Path), Site 56 (former Chemical Works, Tenterden) and Site 82 (Wye College Car Park) has been deposited for public inspection from Thursday, 19th February 1998, at the following locations, free of charge, during normal office or library opening hours as appropriate: Ashford Borough Council, Planning Department, Civic Centre, Tannery Lane, Ashford. Ashford Borough Council, 5-7 The Fairings, Tenterden; Kent County Council, Planning Department, Springfield, Maidstone; Ashford Central Libary, Church Road, Ashford; Branch Libraries at Bockhanger, Charing, Stanhope, Tenterden, Wye and the Mobile Library. Objections to and representations in respect of the Fourth Schedule of further changes should be sent in writing to the Local Plans Team, Borough Planning Officer’s Department, Ashford Borough Council, Civic Centre, Tannery Lane, Ashford TN23 1PL, to be received no later than 2nd April 1998. Objections and representations may only be made in relation to the Fourth Schedule of proposed changes (not in relation to the provisions of the Plan as originally deposited or in relation to the First, Second or Third Schedule of changes) and should state the change to which they relate and may include a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the proposals. Separate forms should be used for each objection or representation. Only objectors whose objections are made in writing and received at the above address no later than 2nd April 1998, will be entitled to have their objections considered at a Local Inquiry. I. H.
