The Metropolitan Borough of Solihull (Maxstoke Lane) (Prohibition of Driving) Order 199 
The Metropolitan Borough of Solihull (Shepherds Lane) (One-Way) Order 199 

The Metropolitan Borough of Solihull (Somers Road) (Prohibition of Driving) Order 1996 (Amendment No. 2) Order 199 .
Notice is hereby given that the Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
  The effect of the Orders, if implemented, will be to:

  (a) Prohibit driving except for access along the length of Maxstoke Lane within the Metropolitan Borough of Solihull from the Borough boundary in a generally southerly direction for a distance of approximately 110 metres.
  (b) Prohibit driving except for access along the length of Maxstoke Lane within the county of Warwickshire from the borough boundary in a generally northerly direction for a distance of approximately 145 metres.
  (c) Introduce a one-way (north-easterly direction) traffic flow along Shepherds Lane in the county of Warwickshire from its junction with the A45 (T) to the southern most point of the access to Rookery House, and
  (d) Revoke the Metropolitan Borough of Solihull (Somers Road, Meriden) Prohibition of Driving) (Amendment No. 1) Order 1997.

  A copy of the draft Orders, together with a map and details of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make it, may be inspected at the Council Offices, Solihull, during normal office hours. Anyone wishing to object to the above proposals should do so in writing to the address given below by Monday, 16th March 1998.
