Stopping-up of a Highway at Billington, near Whalley, Lancashire

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section 333(7) of the above Act, entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Lancashire) (No. 5) Order 1997 (Revocation) Order 1998”. The Order revokes an Order made by him under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Lancashire) (No. 5) Order 1997” which authorised the stopping-up of a length of Northcote Road, at Billington, near Whalley, Lancashire, which was referred to in the notice published on 5th December 1997.
  Copies of the above-named Orders may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the North West (Transport), Sunley Tower, Piccadilly Plaza, Sunley Tower, Manchester M1 4BE, (quoting ref. GO/TNW 5063/35/1/034), and may be inspected at all reasonable hours during the 28 days commencing on 20th February 1998, at the offices of Ribble Valley Borough Council, Council Offices, Church Walk, Clitheroe.
