Notice of application to vary a licence to abstract water

Take notice that W. A. Davey and Son, of Slade Farm, Rogate, near Petersfield, Hampshire, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence serial numbers 10/41/434001 and 10/41/435007 to abstract water from the River Rother between National Grid References SU 8047 2275 and SU 8307 220, SU 7692 2362 and SU 7775 2324, SU 7767 2332 and SU 7824 2328, at Durford Abbey Farm, Habin Farm and Ryfield Farm in the parishes of Rogate and Harting.   The variation being applied for is to increase the areas of land that can be irrigated with no increase in the annual, daily or hourly water quantities.   A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours, at Slade Farm, Rogate, near Petersfield, between 9th March and 9th April 1998.   Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Sussex Area Office, Ridgeworth House, 5 Liverpool Gardens, Worthing, West Sussex BN11 1YH, before the end of the said period.
