Notice of Deposit of Proposals for the Alteration of the Eryri Local Plan 1997

Snowdonia National Park Authority have prepared proposals for the alteration of the above plan. If, and when, these plan proposals are adopted they will form the Development Plan for the Snowdonia National Park. The Development Plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area. Copies of the proposals are available for public inspection, free of charge, at the National Park Offices: Penrhyndeudraeth; Gwynedd Council Offices: Dolgellau, Bala, Tywyn, Blaenau Ffestiniog, Caernarfon, Bangor; Conwy County Borough Council Offices; Colwyn Bay, Conwy; Libraries: Harlech, Llandudno, Dolgellau, Conwy Barmouth, Bethesda, Llanberis, Penygroes, Porthmadog, Llanwrst, Bala, Tywyn, Blaenau, Ffestiniog, Caernarfon, Bangor, Penrhyndeudraeth, during normal opening hours.   Objections to and representations in respect of, the proposals, should be sent in writing to the National Park Officer, National Park Offices, Penrhyndeudraeth, Gwynedd LL48 6LS, before 12 noon, 9th April 1998.   Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. They may also be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the proposals.   Only objectors whose objections are made in writing and arrive at the address specified above within the 6 week period ending at 12 noon, on 9th April 1998, will have a right to have their objections considered at a Local Inquiry or hearing.   Further information is available from the National Park Office, telephone (01766) 770274.
