The Islington (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No. 6) Traffic Management Order 1998

Relating to: Brandon Road, Brewery Road, Caledonian Road, Copenhagen Street, Edward Square, Mackenzie Road, Market Road, Offord Road, Richmond Avenue, Westbourne Road and York Way. Notice is hereby given that the Islington Borough Council on 20th February 1998, made the above-mentioned Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.   The general effect of the Order will be to amend the existing and/or introduce additional Waiting and Loading Restrictions in certain parts of the above-named streets.   A copy of the Order, of plans indicating details of the measures referred to in the above paragraph, and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected during normal office hours until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made at the following location:   Legal Department, Town Hall, Upper Street, Islington, London N1 2UD. LE/C/HGF).   Further information may be obtained by telephoning Hugh Forde on 0171-477 3301.   Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof of of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purposes to the High Court.
