Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Camden on 19th February 1998, made the above-mentioned Order under sections 45, 46 and 49 and 124 of Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Reuglation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985, and the Road Traffic Act 1991. The details of which were previously published in The London Gazzette on 20th November 1997, Ref. 518. The general effect of the (CA-B/F/G/H) Order will be to include in the Camden (Parking Places) Orders within the existing controlled parking zones of the borough north of Euston Road, provisions to allow for “Car Free” Housing. Residents (except people with disabilities) of residential developments given planning consent with no parking in their site would not be eligible for resident parking permits. The Order will also re-designate a pay & display parking place in the CA-G zone to include an extra space in North Gower Street. A copy of the Order, which will come into force on 2nd March 1998, and the Council’s statement of reasons, may be inspected, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Environment Reception desk, 5th Floor, Camden Town Hall, Argyle Street, WC1H 8EQ. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any proivison contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the requirements thereof, or of any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
