TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to section 252(4) of the above Act, a local public inquiry will be held at Sevenoaks District Council, Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks, Kent TN13 1HG, starting at 10 a.m., on Tuesday, 21st April 1998. The Inquiry is in connection with the proposal by the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions to make an Order under section 247 of the above Act to authorise the stopping-up of three areas of highway forming part of the Station Access Road, Dunton Green, Sevenoaks, in the county of Kent, and the objections which have been received by him to that proposal.   The effect of the Order would be to enable residential development comprising 34 dwellings and new vehicular and pedestrian access to and from Rye Lane, to be carried out in accordance with planning permission granted by Sevenoaks District Council under Part III of the said Act to Moat Housing Society.   The Secretary of State has appointed Mr. G.
