The Conversion of Highways into Footpaths or Bridleways (Cardiff City Council) (No.1) Order 1979 (Revocation) Order 1998
The Secretary of State for Wales hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section 249 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, revoking the Conversion of Highways into Footpaths or Bridleways (Cardiff City Council) (No.1) Order 1979. The effect of the Order is to re-open to through traffic that part of Havelock Street, Cardiff, which extends from its junction with Wood Street in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 26 metres. Copies of the Order and the Order being revoked may be inspected, free of charge, at the offices of Cardiff County Council, Atlantic Wharf, Cardiff, or may be obtained, free of charge, at the Welsh Office Highways Directorate, Cathays Park, Cardiff CF1 3NQ (quoting Ref. ZC 510-5-71-13). If any person desires to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, or that his interests have been substantially prejudiced by a failure to comply with any of the requirements of the Act, he may, within 6 weeks of 27th February 1998, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
