Stopping-up of a Highway

Notice is hereby given that Hartlepool Borough Council, the Highway Authority, intends to apply to the Magistrates’ Court, sitting at the Law Courts, Victoria Road, Hartlepool, on 1st April 1998, at 10 a.m., for an Order pursuant to section 116 of the Highways Act 1980, that those lengths of highway referred to in the Schedule hereto be stopped-up on the ground that they are unnecessary.
  A copy of a plan (drawing number M49.140) showing those parts of the highway to be stopped-up may be inspected, free of charge, during normal office hours at the Legal Division of the Chief Executive’s Department, Civic Centre, Victoria Road, Hartlepool.

Highway Verge

   West View Road, that length of highway which constitutes part of the highway verge across the front of the former number 328 West View Road, being irregular in shape and approximately 38 metres in length with an average width of approximately 7 metres.
