The Ealing (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. 31) Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Ealing, hereinafter called the Council, on 27th February 1998 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 51 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985.
  The general effect of the doctor parking places Order will be to amend the Ealing (Doctor Parking Places) (Special Parking Area) (No. 1) Order 1994 by designating a parking place where only a vehicle displaying a valid Doctor Parking Permit may wait, between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. throughout the week, on the length of street specified in Schedule 1 to this notice.
  The effect of the waiting and loading restriction Order will be to further amend the Ealing (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) Order 1994 so as to:

  (a) impose waiting restrictions, operative at any time on the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 2 to this notice;
  (b) impose waiting restrictions, operative between 8 a.m. and 9.30 a.m. and between 3 p.m. and 4.30 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, on the length of street specified in Schedule 3 to this notice.

  Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 6th March 1998, of the Orders being amended, of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Orders and plans showing the locations and effects of the Orders may be inspected during a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at BRETS Reception, 24 Uxbridge Road, Ealing W5 2BP. Copies of the Orders may be purchased at this address.
  Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provisions contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within 6 weeks of the making of the Orders, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

Schedule 1

   Disraeli Road W.5, the north side, from a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 33 and 35 Disraeli Road westward for a distance of 6.60 metres.

Schedule 2

   Drayton Green W.5, the south-east side, between a point 15 metres north-east of the northern kerb-line of Sutherland Road and a point 15 metres south-west of the southern kerb-line of Sutherland Road.

   Sutherland Road W.5, between the south-eastern kerb-line of Drayton Green and a point 10 metres east of that kerb-line.

   Woodfield Road W.5, between the southern kerb-line of Pitshanger Lane and a point 15 metres south of that kerb-line.

   Pitshanger Lane W.5, the south side, between a point 10 metres west of the western kerb-line of Woodfield Road and a point 10 metres east of the eastern kerb-line of Woodfield Road.

Schedule 3

The unnamed service road fronting Nos. 115 to 129 East Acton Lane W.3, between a point opposite the western boundary wall of No. 129 East Acton Lane and a point opposite the eastern boundary wall of No. 115 East Acton Lane, and including the access to the service road fronting No. 123 East Acton Lane.
