Application for an Order authorising the Stopping-up of Moston Lane, Moston, Manchester

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Manchester intend to apply to the Magistrates’ Court sitting at the Court House, Crown Square, Manchester, on Thursday, 2nd April 1998, at 2 p.m., for an Order under section 116 of the Highways Act 1980, authorising the stopping-up of the highways specified hereto on the ground that it is unnecessary.   A plan showing the said highway may be inspected, without payment, at my office, Room 601, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4.30 p.m., on Mondays to Fridays.   Any person who would be aggrieved by the making of the said Order may appear before the Court and make objections or representations thereto. Any person intending to attend the hearing of the application is requested to inform me, quoting Ref. L/MF, before the date of the hearing of their intention to appear. S.    Moston Lane, Moston, being part of the northerly footway from the easterly side of the junction with Capstan Street for a distance of approximately 48 metres, the width varying between 1.4 metres and 1.5 metres. Numbered 3 on the plan. 2nd March 1998.
