Laying of a Telecommunication Cable from South Wales to Kilmore Quay, Ireland

Notice is hereby given that Cable & Wireless, Waterside House, Longshot Lane, Bracknell, Berkshire RG12 1XL, has applied to the Secretary of State for Transport, under paragraph 11 of Schedule 2 to the Telecommunication Act 1984, to lay a telecommunication cable at the above location in the position degrees 51.33 North and 4.12 West at Port Eynon.   Plans showing the route of the cable may be inspected at the above Cable & Wireless office (contact Wayleaves & Utilities Manager) or Swansea Central Library, Alexandra Road, Swansea SA1 5DZ.   Objections relating to safety of navigation in respect of the application should be made to the Department of Transport, Ports Division, Fourth Floor, Zone 4/13, Great Minster House, 76 Marsham Street, London SW1P 4DR, within 32 days of the date of this notice, quoting Ref. MNA157/1695/02.
