The County of Carmarthenshire (Restricted Roads) Order 1998

(Imposition of 30 m.p.h. Speed Limited on the Class III Saron to Drefach Felindre Road)

Notice is hereby given that on 27th February 1998, the Carmarthenshire County Council made an Order under sections 82(2) and 83(2) of the Road Traffic Act 1984 (the Act”).   The effect of this Order is that the length of road specified in the Schedule to this notice become subject to a speed limit of 30 m.p.h.   The Order will come into operation on 6th March 1998 and a copy of the Order, together with a map showing the length of road affected may be examined at the offices of the Carmarthenshire County Council, at County Hall, Carmarthen, during normal office hours.   Any person who desires to question the validity of this Order, or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act or, on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or of any Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.   Class III Saron to Drefach Felindre Road (C2098), from a point 432 metres west of its junction with the Principal Road A484 for a distance of approximately 671 metres in a general westerly direction. 4th March 1998.
