Highway at Humber Close, Steen’s Bridge, Leominster

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Hereford and Worcester) (No.3) Order 1998” authorising the stopping-up of areas of Humber Close, Steen’s Bridge, Leominster and requiring the provision of a new highway shown as stippled on the deposited plan.
  The Order as made, will authorise the stopping-up only to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted by Leominster District Council on 15th October 1996, under Ref. 96/0650/N.
  Copies of this Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the West Midlands at the offices of the Director, Planning, Transport and Environment, 77 Paradise Circus, Queensway, Birmingham B1 2DT (quoting 5058/35/1/20) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at Leominster Marches Housing Association, Lion Court, Broad Street, Leominster HR6 8LE.
  Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks of 5th March 1998, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.

  Phased demolition of 29 dwellings, clear existing site, access roads etc. Phased redevelopment of 29 new dwellings with curtilage parking from new roads, new sewage treatment plant at Humber Close, Steen’s Bridge.
