LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND-UPON-THAMES
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames on 2nd March 1998, made the above Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and the Road Traffic Act 1991. The effect of the Order is to introduce street trading pitches for the exclusive use of licenced street traders (a) on the east side of Orleans Road, Twickenham, at its junction with Riverside and (b) in Ranelagh Drive, Twickenham, adjacent to Richmond Lock, both to operate between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m., throughout the week. The Order will come into operation on 9th March 1998. Copies of the Order and the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order together with plans showing the lengths of road affected can be inspected at the: (a) Civic Centre, (Second Floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham, between 9.15 a.m. and 5 p.m., on Mondays to Fridays; (b) Central Reference Library, Old Town Hall, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond, during opening hours; (c) Twickenham Reference Library, Garfield Road, during opening hours. Copies of the Order may be purchased from the Department of Highways and Transport, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any Instrument made under the Act has not been complied with that person may, within 6 weeks from the date the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court. 6th March 1998.
