The London Borough Of Richmond-Upon-Thames Residents’ Parking Permits (Restricted Issue) Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames propose to make the above Order under sections 45, 46, 49, 51 and 124 of and Part III and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended) and the Road Traffic Act 1991.   The effect of the proposed Order will be to remove the eligibility for residents’ parking permits for residents of certain new housing developments within Controlled Parking Zones where this restriction is a condition of the planning consent.   Copies of the Order and the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order can be inspected at:   (a) Civic Centre, (2nd Floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham, between 9.15 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays;   (b) Central Reference Library, Old Town Hall, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond, during opening hours;   (c) Twickenham Reference Library, Garfield Road, during opening hours.   If you wish to object to or make representation on the proposal you should write, giving the grounds for your objection or representation, to the Head of Highways and Transport, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ, to be received by 27th March 1998. 6th March 1998.
