The Richmond-upon-Thames Free Parking Places (Short Stay) (Amendment No. ) Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames propose to make the above Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part III and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and the Road Traffic Act 1991.   The effects of the proposed Order will be to introduce free parking places, operational between 8.30 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays, with a maximum period of stay of 1 hour (no return within 1 hour) at the following locations:    Adelaide Road, Teddington, the south side, for 22 metres adjacent to the flank wall of No. 37 Park Road;    Kew Gardens Road, Kew, the north side, for 15 metres outside Nos. 1 to 3;    North Road, Kew, the west side, for 22 metres opposite No. 77.   Copies of the proposed Order and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing the Order together with plans showing the lengths of road affected can be inspected at the Civic Centre (Second Floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham, between 9.15 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays; Central Reference Library, Old Town Hall, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond, during opening hours; Kew Library, North Road, during opening hours; and Teddington Library, Waldegrave Road, during opening hours.   If you wish to object to or make representation on the proposals you should write giving the grounds for your objection or representation to the Head of Highways and Transport, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ, to be received by 3rd April 1998. 13th March 1998.
